Jay-Z - Thank You

One more Jay-Z leak for the day... and I'm not even going to post it. The title of the track is Thank You. I guess you can thank me for not posting it. It's not a bad track, but it's nothing more than what has already been leaked. I wouldn't be surprised if none of these tracks were on the BP3 album... but then again... think Kingdom Come.

Drake - Forever f. Eminem, Kanye West & Lil Wayne

Honestly, I'm wearing tired of Drake more and more as each day passes. He gets props and respect for staying on his grind, and winning the hearts of the game. So, since I know that there are still millions out there who are feeling dude like a 13 year old pervert... Check out this new anticipated track featuring Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Eminem.

Jay Rock - I Do It 4 Hip Hop f. Ab-Soul, K-Dot & School Boy Q (Day 16)

Jay Rock has been going at it for 16 straight days so far with his 30 tracks in 30 days. If you haven't been keeping up with the prior days... you've been missing out. Right here he goes in over the Luda track "I Do It 4 Hip Hop." One of my favorite tracks right now, and Nas also has a version that's just as dope, if not better... Check out all 3.

Relapse 2, Later This Year?

Could Amazon.UK have the inside scoop? They're urging folks to pre-order their copies of Relapse 2, which is supposedly dropping on November 16 (a Monday). Stay tuned... this could be true, or maybe it's not. Even if it's somewhat true... I'd expect it to be pushed back anyway. That just seems like the hot thing to do these days. Interestingly, the refill date on the bottle in the picture says the 17th, which is a Tuesday.

Hopefully, this album is better than the first one.

Skillz - Inside a Change Feat. Usef Dinero & DJ Jazzy Jeff (Video)

"To celebrate "Inside A Change" winning the Best Film Award at the 2009 HBO NYILFF, Skillz, Usef Dinero and DJ Jazzy Jeff put this joint together for the soundtrack. The original concept for the video was to create literal interpretations of Skillz' lyrics that have to do with the characters in the film."

"However, that sort of morphed into straight up performance shots where we followed Skillz around various locations during his tour and intercutting it with abstract b roll shots."

Big Boi Speaks on Dungeon Family (Video)

This is sure to be a great few next quarters for Outkast, and the Dungeon Family. A Big Boi album, a 3 Stacks album, a Outkast album, and a Goodie Mob album. WTF!?!?!?! Yes, a Goodie Mob album. A lot of this stuff is top secret, so Big Boi is staying hush... but none the less just know that they are on the grind right now. Stay tuned.

Michael Vick on 60 Minutes (Video)

Even though I HATE the Eagles with every bone in my body... I would love to see Michael Vick become a success once again... as an Eagle. After watching this 60 minutes segment with James Brown Vick puts his feelings and emotions on the table for the world to see. I still think it's kind of weird the way he tried to convince everyone of his love of animals now. I don't doubt the dude... I just know that there are millions of cats (no pun intended) who don't get a second chance like he's getting. He's got some good people in his corner, and hopefully he'll be back to the old Vick and out of Philly. It burns me on the inside to imagine this season with my Cowboys playing against this Eagles team now.

Joe Budden - Escape Route

Man, as if I wasn't already excited enough about 8/11 with Slaughterhouse dropping. Now I have to get to albums?! Crazy... Let me go break the piggy bank for this occasion.

Following the success of “Halfway House” and the much-anticipated “Padded Room,” Joe Budden and Amalgam Digital are excited to announce the release of “Escape Route”. The digital-only album will be made available exclusively on AmalgamDigital.com August 11th, 2009. “Escape Route” marks the third installment in Budden’s inspired saga sequence that has already brought fans such releases as “Halfway House” and “Padded Room,” and will culminate with the groundbreaking “The Great Escape.”

Escape Route aims to set a new precedent for Budden as he begins to map out his escape by enlisting guest appearances from Wale, Slaughterhouse, and Young Chris as well as production from 9th Wonder, Streetrunner, Chad West, and J. Cardim. When asked about his latest endeavor Budden had the following to say:

“Escape Route is a precursor to what may very well be the best Joe Budden album ever… The Great Escape. It’s filled with the lyricism and passion that Joe Budden fans have come to love me for….‘THE GREAT ESCAPE’ coming soon!”

Following “Escape Route” Joe Budden will return to the Amalgam Digital label roster to release the final and most compelling installment of the series entitled “The Great Escape” another groundbreaking album that will signify his ultimate salvation and departure from the traditional norms of mediocrity that continue to confine the creativity of many artists today. With the momentum garnering around his supergroup Slaughterhouse’s performances on tour at the Paid Dues and Rock the Bells hip hop festivals, Budden’s latest album is sure to reinforce his commitment to his craft while also justifying his sustained success throughout the past several years.
